  • Stunning lake views throughout
  • Open-air seating and veranda at Magic Beans Cafe
  • Waterskiing on the lake to watch
  • Bring the camera, it really is that beautiful

A Glimpse of the Adventure

The Age Guide

From babies discovering the world for the first time to big kids who want a proper challenge, there's always something at Hocus Pocus Play.

Babies & Toddlers

Soft, safe spaces for the youngest explorers, with sensory textures, gentle climbing and a calm corner to take it all in at their own pace.

Under 2

Little Explorers

This age lives for the garden and trails. Wide eyes, curious hands, the sandpit, outdoor features and wide open space to disappear into.

Ages 2–4

Older Children

Older siblings are more than welcome. The garden, trails and outdoor space give everyone room to roam while the little ones do their thing.

Ages 4+

Common Questions

What ages is Hocus Pocus Play suitable for?

All ages, from babies to 10 and beyond. The outdoor garden and lakeside setting are enjoyed by the whole family, while the indoor play space is designed for younger children. Older children have plenty of garden and trail space to explore.

How is it different from soft play?

We're not soft play. The outdoor space is the heart of it: a proper enchanted garden with trails, hidden spots, seasonal surprises and things to discover, plus the natural lakeside setting with its birdlife and wildlife. It's sensory, interactive and genuinely explorative, not just a padded climbing frame. Plus the Magic Beans Cafe, the lakeside views and the dog-friendly outdoor areas make it a full day out for the whole family.

Do children need to wear socks?

Yes. Grip socks are required in the indoor play area for safety. Adults supervising indoors also need socks. You're welcome to bring your own or pick some up on arrival.

Is food available on site?

Absolutely. Magic Beans Cafe is right on site. Doorstep sandwiches, brunch dishes, barista coffee, kids' meals and ice cream. The kitchen is open until 2:30pm.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes! Dogs are welcome throughout our outdoor areas and inside Magic Beans Cafe.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking at Fairford Waterski Club. Follow the signs from Whelford Road, Fairford, GL7 4DT.

Can I visit just for the cafe without a play session?

Of course. You're always welcome to visit Magic Beans Cafe and enjoy the lakeside garden without booking a play session. No booking required for cafe visits.
